I
fell in a paint pot when i was a kid, since then i'm
a hardcore addict with coloured fingers in constant evolution.
1989, I did my first "reso" graffiti in the
suburb of Paris where I grew up, and definitely lost
all hope of a cure.
After a few inapropriate colourfull meetings with the
police, I finally made a living of spraypainting, so
I could go to french art schools (Olivier de Serre and
ESAG) from 1994 to 1999. I was then doing mainly graphic
design works in my days and bigger freestyle formats
in my nights.
2000, I moved to London and worked as an illustrator
for a graphic design studio, experimenting with computer
graphics.
2001, I painted on my computer screen and eventually
realised i could bring my colours to life by making them
move. Exploring animation and live action as a freelance,
I then aimed to make my digital paintings dance to the
beat, and have named it Rësography... la graphie
du rëso quoi!
2002, I started directing music videos, represented by
production companies in London, Los Angeles and Paris,
keeping commercials, title sequences, graphics, illustrations
and paintings under the control of my Rësography
label for client such as MTV, Channel 4, BBC, Nike, BMG,
Lotus cars... |
